Who is responsible
Toe Tag is operated by Adrian Ignacio Albors, an individual based in Argentina, who decides how the data below is used. Contact: hello@toetag.app.
What we collect
| Data | Why | Who processes it |
|---|---|---|
| Your email, if you subscribe | To send The Obits and early access news, and to confirm you asked for them | Buttondown, our newsletter provider |
| Basic delivery data for our emails (for example, whether a message was delivered or opened) | To keep the list healthy and know what readers find useful | Buttondown |
| Aggregate site statistics (pages viewed, country, browser), without cookies | To know which pages are read | Cloudflare Web Analytics |
| Technical logs (IP address, browser) needed to serve the site and block abuse | Security and delivery of the site | Cloudflare, our hosting provider |
| Anything you send us by email | To answer you | Our email provider |
We don't use tracking cookies, we don't build advertising profiles, and we don't sell or rent your data. We never ask what crypto you hold or how much money you have.
Subscribing and unsubscribing
When you subscribe, you get an email asking you to confirm. You're only added if you confirm. Every issue has an unsubscribe link, and we process unsubscribes right away.
How long we keep it
Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Aggregate statistics don't identify you.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data by writing to hello@toetag.app. We'll answer within 30 days.
Who this is for
Toe Tag is intended for adults in the United States. It's not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
When we add new features (for example, accounts or the Check), we'll update this policy before they go live. The date at the bottom shows the latest version.
