What Toe Tag is
Toe Tag publishes information about Solana memecoins, based on public on-chain and market data. It is a publication, not a financial advisor, broker, exchange or wallet. Nothing on this site, in The Obits or on our channels is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell anything.
We never tell you what to buy, when to get in, how much to put, or at what price to sell. A reading is the same for everyone and doesn't take your situation into account.
What our numbers mean
- Passed is not "safe" and not "buy". It means a token passed our structural checks at the moment we read it. Most tokens die, including many that pass.
- A mortality rate is history. It describes how past tokens with a similar pattern ended. It is not a prediction about any token.
- Readings are a snapshot. A token can change minutes after we read it.
- We can be wrong or incomplete. Sources fail, data can be late or wrong, and our checks can't see everything. When we couldn't verify something we mark it MISSING, but some risks won't show up at all.
The risks of memecoins
- Memecoins are highly speculative. Most lose all or nearly all their value, often within days.
- Prices can collapse in minutes. Liquidity can disappear, and you may not be able to sell.
- Launches are often set up against later buyers: bundled supply, insiders, creators selling, copycat tokens.
- Transactions on a blockchain are irreversible. Scams, hacks and lost keys usually can't be undone.
- Rules for crypto assets vary by country and are changing.
Only use money you can afford to lose entirely. If you are under financial pressure, memecoins are not a way out. If you need advice for your situation, talk to a licensed professional.
